Guidance for where you are right now

Turning 65 and still working
Keep your employer plan, enroll in Part B, or both? We'll sort out timing, HSA contributions, and how your coverage works together.

Retiring from employer coverage
Leaving a group plan starts the clock on important enrollment windows. I'll help you move to Medicare without gaps or late-enrollment penalties.

Already on Medicare
Doctors, prescriptions, and plans change every year. A yearly review helps make sure your coverage still fits.

Traveling or living in two states
Snowbird or frequent traveler? We'll compare how different options work when you're away from home.

Hi, I'm Ed.
I'm an independent licensed insurance agent focused on Medicare. I work with people who want to understand their options clearly — especially those turning 65 while still working or planning their move into retirement. My goal is simple: help you choose coverage you understand and feel good about, and be there when you need me.

Does it cost anything to work with you?
No. I'm paid by the insurance companies I represent, and your premium is the same whether you enroll with me or on your own.
Do I have to enroll during our appointment?
No. Our conversation is about understanding your options. You decide if and when to enroll.
How do appointments work?
We meet by phone or video at a time you choose. Before we discuss Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, Medicare requires a Scope of Appointment — I'll send you a short form to confirm the topics you'd like to cover.
When should I start planning if I'm turning 65?
Three to six months before your 65th birthday is a good time to start. Your Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before the month you turn 65.
I'm still working. Do I need Medicare at 65?
It depends on your employer's size and your coverage. Many people with coverage from current employment can delay Part B without a penalty, but there are important exceptions. Let's review your situation before you decide.
